But his good fortune doesn’t last long, as the plans for one major reno threatens to sink the project, while another reno skids to a sudden and frustrating halt.

but his luck is sinking at another project where the underpinning is underwater.
And Jim takes on a little home project that leaves him in the dog house.

Keen to keep clients happy contractor Jim Caruk gets busy digging but his premature hole ends in a watery mess. Meanwhile as one potentially problematic project starts up another comes to an exquisite end. Jim takes in the scenery as his cottage progresses rain, snow or shine.

Already set back over a month, the foundation problems on one site just keep on coming and Jim’s crew can barely keep up. But now Jim has new concerns: freezing weather is disrupting his own cottage build; and worse, he’s been put on a strict diet to try and fix his aching joints.

has a roof and some walls. Determined to move it forward, Jim’s planned a building blitz. Meanwhile, a homeowner is feeling twitchy as she packs to leave for the summer with her reno far from complete.

Jim gets one of his jobs back on track only to discover he forgot to move the homeowners out before starting the demo. And in true Jim style, it’s a race to the finish at another job that’s fallen a little behind. Will he pull it together before the moving truck arrives?
